    SUPPORT VACANCIES

    CLERK TO MAT AND LOCAL GOVERNING BODIES

    Grade 3 £19,430 to £24,964 per annum, pro rata - Actual salary £7330 to £9417 per annum

    15 hours per week, term time plus two weeks (to be worked during Summer holidays)

    Hours to be worked flexibly to meet the requirements of Plantsbrook Learning Trust, including daytime (2-3 days per week) with an office base at Plantsbrook School and attendance at evening meetings.

    You will act as the Professional Officer of the Trust, providing effective administrative support and advice to the Trust and Local Governing Bodies on governance and constitutional and procedural matters working within the legislative framework.

    You will have:

    • Knowledge of Governing Body procedures

    • The ability to provide advice and guidance on the operation and implementation of external regulations and statutory requirements

    • Experience of producing accurate and timely minutes with the ability to touch type desirable

    • Attended, or demonstrate a commitment to attend, the Clerks’ Accreditation programme

    BUILDING SERVICES SUPERVISOR

    Grade 2 (spine point 11-19) £15,807 - £18,746 per annum

    Full time (36.5 hours per week) to include evening and weekends on a shift basis to meet the business needs of the Trust

    We are looking to appoint a Building Services Supervisor who will play a key role in ensuring that our school and its grounds are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.  We have a beautiful new building and we need you to help to keep it that way!

    You will

    • Have experience in caretaking and/or cleaning
    • Be self-motivated and able to work under pressure, using your own initiative
    • Be able to identify and prioritise work effectively, ensuring that all jobs are completed to the highest standard
    • Have a flexible, positive and ‘can do’ attitude
    • Have the ability to work as a member of a team and work on own initiative

    This post will involve lone working.

    This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for the role.

    ASSISTANT INCLUSION LEADER / HEAD OF RESOURCE BASE FOR STUDENTS WITH VISION IMPAIRMENT– QUALIFIED TEACHER OF VISUALLY IMPAIRED

    TPR + TLR2B £4442 per annum and SEN point £4158 per annum

    Full or part time considered.

    We invite applications from innovative, resilient, creative and motivated individuals who can play a key role in our specialist provision for Visual Impairment. You will be an enthusiastic and outstanding QTVI Teacher who will inspire and motivate our students.

    You will have responsibility for developing and promoting the use of Inclusion, with specific responsibility for VI provision across the school to support teaching and learning. You will be involved with coordinating the support provided to students including delivering programmes of skills development to enable pupils in accessing their learning. Students are taught in classes with their peer group, to encourage team building, social skills and confidence, by experienced class teachers in combination with the QTVI and with support from trained educational teaching assistants.

    This September we moved into our new build with state-of-the art facilities. This is both a challenging and exciting time to be working at Plantsbrook School.
